Guild History
Nocturnal was officially formed in March 2008 by long-time WoW players Smy and Drascoz on the Kul Tiras EU server. Both were established guild officers and raid leaders that started playing WoW shortly after the initial beta release. They were quickly joined by several former guild mates and members of other raid guilds who shared their vision of creating a special type of late-night raiding guild; one that better fit the lifestyle of those with jobs and families whilst maintaining good raid performance and progress. From its inception, Nocturnal has been a joint venture between skilled players intent on meeting this goal.

At its peak Nocturnal had more than 70 members and 35 active raiders, and at one point it was the 10th highest-ranked guild on Kul Tiras. During the spring of 2009, the overall Alliance population rate on Kul Tiras began to decline markedly, and by late summer of that year most of the Alliance raiding guilds on the server had been negatively affected. To address this, a unified decision was made to relocate the guild to the Silvermoon server in October 2009.


Who We Are
Nocturnal is an established late-night raiding guild made up of skilled players who share a desire to progress through end-game content. We are a mature guild for mature players; therefore we have a minimum age requirement of 18. Most of our members are working adult gamers with professional and family commitments, so we endeavor to use our game time as effectively and efficiently as possible. Our members have a high-degree of mutual respect for one another, and we sustain a fun, relaxed environment that is conducive to team building and high-end raiding. At the core of Nocturnal’s leadership structure are several members who have experience playing at very competitive levels in elite raid guilds, but at the same time we strive to maintain a communal atmosphere. Every member of Nocturnal is considered and treated as an equal, and all guild decisions are made by council vote; new members have the same voice and input as our veterans do. In short, Nocturnal is a team enterprise.


Who We Are Not
We are not a training guild, nor are we a PvP guild. We are not here to teach class mechanics, nor are we here to guide players through older game content. We are a raiding guild oriented towards high-end PvE progression, and potential applicants must be ready for this on day one of joining Nocturnal.


Raid Times
Our raid times are:
Monday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT
Wednesday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT
Thursday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT
Sunday: 8:30pm - 12:00pm GMT

- Please note these times are GMT, raid times are 9:30pm - 1:00am server time
- A 5th raid night will be added once the guild is established on Silvermoon.
